My Music

Here you will find links to musical recordings that I have produced, including recent videos and recordings from my bands in the 1980s.

The Basement Tapes Series

In the late-1980s I played in several semi-professional bands in London, Ontario, Canada. Like many young musicians, we were chasing the dream of a recording contract that did not happen. After six years of trying, I gave up and returned to university to complete my first degree.

These songs were originally produced on cassette. For 30 years those cassettes languished in a box in my basement. As my kids got older, I realized that they had never heard my old music. I didn’t even own a cassette player anymore. So I purchased a cassette-digitizer and converted everything to MP3 format. I’ve been slowly uploading them to YouTube with lyrics and photos. There is noticeable deterioration in the recording quality due to the age of the cassettes. I tweaked them as best I could to improve the sound quality. I hope you enjoy them. There are more to come.
